CENTERVILLE - Jenny Perreault has made over 250 masks on her own and helped coordinate the making of over 450 through Project Mask Cape Cod. She's cut up sheets when she was short on material and troubleshooted through bobbin jams–all for the simple goal of helping and protecting others. She said she got the idea to make masks when she was depressed about suddenly being unemployed from the stay-at-home order. Her three jobs are all deemed non essential. "I needed to craft something," Perrault said of her change in mindset. And then it "snowballed." She's made masks for nurses, home health care workers, Champ Homes employees, the bakery staff at BJ's Wholesale Club. "It gave me a reason to get up in the morning," she said.
