The Division of Marine Fisheries of Massachusetts requires fishermen to throw back lobsters that measure smaller than 3 1/4 inches from the eye socket to the end of the body. The kids were able to accompany Chris on his clamming expedition because they had a half day of school. Chris was trying to fill a bushel basket before taking Maddy to his yoga class. For this family of seven, planning meals can be a challenge. He and his wife will enjoy the steamers but the kids don't have the palate for shellfish.
